Akash Bhatia is a Senior Associate out of Tampa at SierraConstellation Partners, bringing six years of experience across leveraged finance, restructuring, and private equity investing roles. His work has spanned various industries, including Industrials, Healthcare, Business Services, Technology, Consumer Products, and Education.

Prior to joining SierraConstellation Partners, Akash underwrote equity investments in private companies as a co-investor with GCM Grosvenor and as a direct investor through internships with Lincoln Liberty and High Street Capital. Prior to his private equity experience, Akash began his career working in investment banking supporting the execution of debt financings for private-equity backed transaction at HSBC and as a junior banker working on debtor-side restructuring engagements for Gordian Group.

Akash holds a B.S. in Finance from Fordham University and an MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Additionally, Akash is a CFA Charter holder.
