Eva Marquis, a Senior Associate based in Nashville, has more than 10 years of experience in commercial finance, credit underwriting, and asset-based lending. She works with lenders, management teams, and other stakeholders to evaluate business performance, assess liquidity, and navigate periods of financial and operational change. Her experience spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, staffing, SaaS, lender finance, and consumer products.

Throughout her career, Eva has advised on complex lending relationships, helping stakeholders understand risk, evaluate performance trends, and make informed decisions in dynamic situations. Her background includes financial and operational due diligence, working capital analysis, collateral-based lending, covenant compliance, and borrower monitoring. She has also participated in workout and restructuring situations involving stressed and underperforming businesses.

Prior to joining SCP, Eva was a Credit Portfolio Manager in the Asset-Based Lending group at Atlantic Union Bank, where she managed a portfolio of lower middle-market borrowers and syndicated lending relationships. Previously, she was Underwriting Manager at C2FO Capital Finance, where she helped launch and scale the firm’s asset-based lending platform. Earlier in her career, she worked as a commercial underwriter and field examiner, providing lenders with financial, operational, and collateral analyses to support credit decisions.

Eva earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) Tennessee chapter and the TMA NOW (Network of Women) program.
