Greg Kelly
Greg Kelly is a Senior Advisor at SierraConstellation Partners, based in St. Louis, Missouri. With nearly 20 years of experience navigating the intersection of law, business operations, and finance, Mr. Kelly has particular depth in distressed situations, restructuring, interim management, and high-stakes commercial transactions involving complex legal, regulatory, and creditor dynamics. Having served in CEO, General Counsel, and in senior financial leadership capacities across multiple organizations, he brings a seasoned operator’s perspective, legal acumen, and financial fluency to every engagement.
Prior to joining SCP, Mr. Kelly served as court-appointed Chief Restructuring Officer for an $80M-revenue automotive dealership navigating Chapter 11 and a court-supervised Section 363 asset sale; managing fiduciary duties, liquidity, creditor negotiations, and a multi-disciplinary team of legal and financial professionals. Before that, he served as interim CEO of a distressed regional staffing firm following its founder’s sudden incapacitation, stabilizing operations and returning to profitability. Following his appointment as permanent CEO, he restructured the company’s debt, pivoted the business model to a technology-enabled marketplace platform, and scaled operations across 15 states before a successful exit, with the acquired platform serving as the foundation for a rollup that created the largest company of its kind in the country.
In addition to his operating roles, he has served as both inside and outside general counsel and M&A advisor to businesses and entrepreneurs in his private practice legal career, and brings an established network of attorneys, financial professionals, lenders, and business owners to SCP’s growing Midwest regional presence.
Mr. Kelly holds a J.D. and a B.S. in Finance from Saint Louis University and is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Financial Services and Insolvency Law Committee for the Missouri Bar.
