Carmine Bruno

Carmine Bruno, an Associate out of New York at SierraConstellation Partners, is a finance professional with three years of experience in both advisory and investment roles. He has worked with clients across a variety of industries including consumer & retail, information technology, healthcare, professional services, and transportation & logistics.

Prior to joining SierraConstellation Partners, Carmine worked at Aleutian Capital Group, a New York based investment banking firm. As an analyst, Carmine was responsible for originating new opportunities, creating marketing materials, performing valuation analysis, and advising companies throughout the M&A process.

He began his career as T3 Trading Group LLC, a Registered SEC Broker Dealer & Member of FINRA/SIPC. As an equity trader, he managed a self-directed portfolio utilizing fundamental and technical analysis.

Carmine has a BA in Economics from Hamilton College. He holds FINRA licenses Series 57, Series 63, and Series 79.

Notable Assignments

  • Financial modeling support for a publicly traded telecommunications company with over 10 separate business units. Responsibilities included developing and maintaining the 13-week cash flow, creating client’s three-statement model, and developing a carve-out analysis for underperforming units.
  • Financial modeling support for an omnichannel retailer of women’s clothing. Developed and maintained a 13-week cash flow model and three-statement model that served as the basis for a forbearance agreement with senior lender after company defaulted on their credit facility.
  • Operational support for an omnichannel retailer of food products. Created a waterfall analysis to determine recoveries for impaired stakeholders after closing on mezzanine financing. Subsequently negotiated with over 50 creditors out-of-court and lowered client’s AP balance by over 50%.
  • Financial Advisor for an online retailer of personal computers. Created a 13-week cash flow model to determine the financing needed to bridge the company’s seasonal liquidity gap & to assist in amendment negotiations with their senior secured lender.
  • Financial Advisor and Chief Restructuring Officer support for an omnichannel retailer of consumer discretionary goods. Completed a four-wall analysis of the company’s retail profile and identified 18 underperforming stores to liquidate. Developed and maintained liquidity model used to refinance senior secured credit facility with a bridge facility & to manage cash. Assisted CRO with pre-bankruptcy sale process, bankruptcy prep & administration, and subsequent 363 asset sale to a strategic buyer.
