Sam Khazary, a Senior Director at SierraConstellation Partners, brings 20 years of expertise in leading strategic initiatives to enhance enterprise value. Over the course of his career, Sam has led, advised, and participated in several significant business transformations, restructurings, and capital markets transactions.
Prior to joining SCP, Sam was an Executive Vice President and public company Officer at Selina Hospitality PLC, a global lifestyle brand with over 100 properties in 24 countries. During his tenure at Selina, Sam spearheaded the company's transition to a NASDAQ-listed public company with a $1.2B listing valuation, executed hundreds of millions in equity, debt, and real estate transactions, and led a critical recapitalization and operational turnaround. Additionally, he oversaw investor and public relations, managed communication strategies, investor relationships, earnings calls, SEC filings, and public perception through media relations.
Before Selina, Sam served as the Managing Director of Investments and Capital Markets for North America at Fosun International Limited, one of the largest privately held multinational investment conglomerates in China, where he was responsible for all facets of commercial real estate and hospitality strategy, investments, and capital markets for the region.
Previously, Sam was a Senior Director in FTI Consulting's Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment and its investment banking subsidiary, FTI Capital Advisors, where he guided complex financial restructurings and transactions.
Sam’s career further includes roles at RCS Capital/Cole Capital, executing over $20 billion in capital markets and real estate transactions via public and private non-traded REITs. He began his career at Morgan Stanley, where he developed both strategic and tactical asset allocation models and directly managed billions of dollars on behalf of a diverse private wealth management and institutional clientele.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Tobin School of Business at St. John’s University, is an alumnus of Bronx High School of Science, and holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst® designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 63, and 79 security and investment banking licenses.
